Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-Pancasila Miracle Day is commemorated with various events, one of which is through ceremonies organized by government and private agencies throughout the country. The ceremony which took place on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Rector‘s Lobby, Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya raised the theme "Rising Moving Together with Pancasila". The event was attended by the entire UNESA academic community, leaders, lecturers, education staff and students.
The FISH dean said that the commemoration of the Pancasila Sanctity Day during the two years of the pandemic was carried out online. Only this year can it be done face-to-face at the rectorate. This condition, he continued, needs to be shared with gratitude as an Indonesian nation that upholds the values ​​of Pancasila.
“The value of togetherness or gotong royong brings this nation to independence. This value is manifested in Pancasila which is the basis and ideology of the nation. In relation to that, we need to revive this historic day and strengthen the spirit of nationalism and statehood," he said.
The challenge of this nation, he continued, is not only the pandemic, but also the behavior of the nation and state must be truly based on the values ​​of Pancasila. Various problems in the country lately cannot be separated from how Pancasila is translated into daily behavior.
These various issues are shared duties and responsibilities, including universities or academics. "Therefore, on this commemoration of the Pancasila Sanctity Day, we reaffirm the values ​​of Pancasila and strengthen the spirit of national and state life for Indonesia to rise and advance with Pancasila," he concluded.
