Surabaya, Unesa, Last Saturday (29/1/2022) good news came from a Lecturer of Educational Technology (TP) Unesa. The news came from Hirnanda Dimas Pradana, S.Pd, M.Pd and Citra Fitri Kholidya, S.Pd, M.Pd. The two TP lecturers are members of the Berbisa (Bersama Kita Bisa) team to develop a social project in the form of an application that aims to help people with communication barriers, for example, being deaf or speech impaired. The application is named EasyIndo. This application can be a solution for individuals who have communication barriers in order to help them to communicate well. In the application there are hundreds of videos about vocabulary that can be used to communicate with those whose communication is hampered. This application can be used by all parties, no exception by educators with students as a medium of communication in learning activities, or it can also be used by parents who have children with communication barriers, it can also be used for relatives and friends whose communication is hampered. The application is planned to be launched in the near future and can be accessed via Android and IOS. The development of the EasyIndo application is supported by the Pertamina Foundation, the Surabaya State University Disability Service Center, and Signalong Indonesia.
