The opening of the PKKMB was carried out in a hybrid manner, at 07.00 WIB located in front of the rectorate building of the State University of Surabaya and attended by Unesa Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes, Vice Chancellor, Senate, Deans, Chair of Ormawa, and New Student Representatives from each Faculty including the Faculty of Education. The opening ceremony of the Unesa PKKMB in 2022 began with the reading of the Chancellor‘s Decree on new student admissions and continued with the student inauguration procession. new by pinning the alma mater to two student representatives by the Chancellor. In his speech, the Unesa Chancellor who is usually called Cak Hasan said that he hoped that the Unesa Young Guard could become a strong human resource, and dare to be creative and innovate. “New students who will later study at the State University of Surabaya must be able to adapt and be competitive in meeting the challenges of today‘s global needs.
